ABOUT US

The Accounting Alliance (TAA) was formed in 2021. We are a national group of film and television production accountants, assistants, and clerks, both union and non-union, that work together to improve working conditions. Some of our recent projects have been recommended staffing guidelines, a resume workshop, suggested interview questions, and a comprehensive guide to representation and benefits for production accountants. On-going projects include a rate survey which was designed to collect data across all accounting positions, taking into account location, experience, and production type to better equip accountants as they go into project negotiations.

We need your participation by sharing your experiences and ideas. Join our community! We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Adequate Staffing

Accounting Departments should be staffed using the Staffing Guidelines, including trigger points, as the absolute minimum accounting crew members needed on a project.

  • Fair Compensation

Accounting Departments should be paid fairly and commensurate with the importance of their work. Survey results with current market rates will be released in late 2022. Take the survey to participate.

  • Professional Communication

Accounting Departments should promote professional, non-abusive communication among themselves and with crew in other Departments.
