FAQs

  • How do I join the Accounting Alliance (TAA)?

You can sign up to be a member here.

  • How much does it cost to join TAA?

    Membership for TAA is free.

  • Who is behind TAA?

The leadership team of TAA is a group of production accountants who saw a need for more collaboration and knowledge sharing in our community. We aim to use this platform to improve our working conditions. To find out who is part of our leadership team, check out our Leadership page.

  • I'd like to attend a meeting I saw posted online, how do I do that?

You must become a member of TAA to attend our meetings. A zoom link will be distributed to all members prior to the meetings, no RSVP necessary.

If you are already a TAA member, no need to fill out the sign up form again. We will send you the link.

  • Where are TAA meetings held?

All meetings are held virtually via zoom.

  • What does TAA do with the information that members provide upon sign up?

TAA keeps your information on our membership list until you ask to be removed. We will never sell your information.

  • How do I access the free resources that TAA has created?

There is an area of the website called Resources - you can find links there to download all the resources that TAA has created.

  • I missed a meeting, where can I find a recording of it?

We do not record our TAA meetings at this time. We want our meetings to be a safe space where people can ask questions and raise concerns freely. We hope you can catch the next one.

  • Do I have to be a union member to join?

The only requirement to join TAA is that you are a freelance production accountant or clerk. You do not need to be a member of any union to join us.

  • Does TAA maintain a job posting board?

We do not maintain a job board because we believe that niche has already been filled by Emily Rice, and various production accounting Facebook groups.
